Ecological Aspects

Because we believe you’re active and part of the changes, we encourage you to slow down and get away from the hustle and bustle of our everyday lives.

We compost most of our waste and try to reduce the use of plastic. In the kitchen a mineral water tank is at your disposal and bottles can be filled up.

We try to use fresh locally sourced products for breakfast and meals.

You ll be served fresh orange juice, seasonal fruits, homemade granola and fresh eggs from our neighbour’s chicken.

In your room, please turn off the AC and all lights when leaving and please try to avoid long showers as water becomes extremely precious.

During your stay, cleaning of your room and change of linen will occur every fourth day. Extra replacements are of course always an option.

In the garden, most of the work is done during autumn and winter. The fields stays remain unmoowed and we avoid pesticides. With an almost tropical climate, we choose plants adapted to the region. During the dry season, from mid-June to October, a little help is given to the garden with limited watering.

We also encourage you to walk and cycle as much as possible.
